I’ve used this 5 gallon shop vac since the day that I got it. It is the only vacuum cleaner I’ve had that actually got up to its full capacity. It is amazing that this thing has no leaks, no jams, and doesn’t take up much room in my shop. This is the thing that I’ve used since I got it.
In other news, Ive been using a friend’s new 5 gallon shop vac for a while now, and it has saved his back a bunch of times. Ive had it for like a year now, and it has saved my back just about every time I’ve needed to pull something out of there. The 5 gallon part is like the main thing here, and it is like my first home.
Some people claim a 5 gallon shop vac is too large for a small shop, but I think its just that it’s small. You know when I’m in my shop, and I need to use a tool to rip out some paper and I’m like “OH SHIT! I need a bigger tool!” But the 5 gallon part of it is like a bigger tool.
They are definitely small, but I think they’re good for the job. The biggest issue I see with them is that they can be very difficult to clean up. It also doesn’t seem right that your car parts get all sticky and clumpy. I know that some people like this cleaner, but I think it would be better to just buy a larger machine.
You might be thinking this is a bit “old” and “fancy” but if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile you’ll know that I’ve been using the same vacuum cleaner for 2 months now. I’ve even had the time to test it out and see how it works. The thing is, 5 gallons can suck everything out of your house in one go, including your carpet. If you have a small space like I do, you should know the drill.
I think the 5 gallon shop vacs are the best kind and I think you should try them. Just my 2 cents.
The 5 gallon shop vac does a good job of cleaning up small spaces but I also use it for bigger spaces. The main benefit is being able to get everything out in one shot. I also use the top part of the vac for dusting, and the bottom part for anything else.
My 5 gallon shop vac looks like something you would find in a 5 gallon plastic bucket. I use the top part to carry away the dust and the bottom to empty the rest of the contents into other containers. I use the pump for everything else.
This vac is really good for getting rid of dust, and it’s not as good for getting things out of the way quickly. The pump can be a bit noisy, and the bottom part tends to get a bit clogged. I’m not too fussed about being clogged, as I tend to run out of space quite quickly.
