This is not a simple question. If you’re not in your home city, that’s a problem. But for the time being, I would advise you to be aware of your home city’s boundaries. Your home city is a place of safety and security, but if you’re outside a city, you might need to check the borders of your city to see if it’s safe.
As a reminder, this is not a city where most people live. The majority of the population of the U.S. is currently located in the suburbs. Most of the people who live in the city are people who work in the city. And as I am sure you’re aware, there are certain people who do not fit into this mold. As such, they are not as safe and secure, and thus, less likely to want to live in a city.
