How Ecom Hub handles sponsored content, so readers always know what they’re reading.
Clear labelling
Any content a third party pays to place is clearly labelled “Sponsored” with a visible eyebrow and, where relevant, the sponsor named. It is visually distinct from independent editorial and is never presented as an unbiased review or ranking.
Editorial standards still apply
Sponsored content must be accurate, useful, and relevant to our ecommerce audience. It goes through editing, and we reserve the absolute right to decline or to require changes. We will not publish anything misleading, regardless of payment.
No paid links, no paid rankings
Sponsorship never buys a link in our editorial content, a higher score in a review, or a place in a “best of” list. Those are earned editorially or not at all. Sponsored links use appropriate rel attributes.
Separation from reviews
A company sponsoring content does not receive, and cannot buy, favourable treatment in our independent reviews or comparisons. Our review methodology is applied identically to sponsors and non-sponsors.
